Sebastian Alexander Nemeh is a student and builder based in Jordan working across education, technology, engineering, and student media. He founded Factoring School to explore a simpler, more interactive way for students to learn mathematics.

About Sebastian
Sebastian is a student at Amman Baccalaureate School in Jordan, studying within an International Baccalaureate educational environment. His interests include technology, education, engineering, entrepreneurship, and media.
Much of his work starts with a subject he wants to understand better and grows into a project that other students can take part in or learn from. That approach has led him to build educational software, student media, and hands-on engineering projects while continuing his studies.
Factoring School reflects that student perspective: difficult topics become more manageable when each mathematical change is explained instead of skipped.
The idea
Why I Built Factoring School
A lot of math resources show a formula, demonstrate it once, and immediately expect students to solve questions. The problem is often not the formula itself. It is the missing reasoning between each step.
Factoring School was built from the perspective of a student who understands how frustrating mathematics can become when those connections are left unexplained. The platform breaks a method into smaller decisions: understand why a step is taken, see the mathematical change, read that change in plain English, and practice it immediately.

Mawqif is a student publication founded and directed by Sebastian at Amman Baccalaureate School. Its student team works across writing, editing, media, and sports coverage, providing a platform for students to publish and develop their work.
