About

About Factoring School

Factoring School is a free, interactive learning platform designed to make factoring and quadratic mathematics easier to understand one step at a time.

What Is Factoring School?

Factoring School helps students learn topics that lead from basic factors and greatest common factors through factoring quadratics, solving equations, discriminants, parameters, quadratic inequalities, and functions with inverses.

Each public lesson combines a clear explanation, a worked example, common mistakes to avoid, and a path into interactive practice. Students can read and practice without creating an account.

How Learning Works

Understand the step

Lessons explain why a mathematical step is taken instead of only showing the finished formula.

See an example

Worked examples connect each decision to the change it makes in the expression or equation.

Practice immediately

Interactive questions provide hints and instant feedback while the idea is still fresh.

Learning Comes First

Educational explanations and worked examples are publicly available. An account is optional and is used for features such as keeping progress across devices and tracking mastery.

Students can revisit lessons and practice as many times as they need.

Who Built Factoring School?

Factoring School was founded by Sebastian Alexander Nemeh, a student and builder based in Jordan. The project grew from a student’s perspective on how frustrating mathematics can become when explanations skip the reasoning between steps.
